Fallen arches: pain relief when the arch is gone forever

Archive date 12 archived replies

if your arches have fallen (there's no getting a sheet of paper thru there) what are some ideas you've tried that work to help with pain in that area? Pretty sure getting my arches back isn't going to happen, at least not to the point they were when I was younger.

My Dr was not helpful with this. I found my heel was coming down at an angle and collapsing the arch. The outside lower part of my ankle hurt from being twisted the wrong way as I walked. Hope you find an answer

I use an arch fit insole in my shoes or Skechers arch fit trainers. You can get slippers too with arch support on Amazon.

Let me ask a question. Of all the athletes taking part in the Olympics on the track, how many do you think have high arches?

Did you know you CAN strenthen your feet and lift your arches? There are foot strenthening exerscises. You Tube can be very helpful for a lot of things. Take a look at some videos.
