Im sick and tired of my feet being so painful. I've been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the midfoot of both feet and in my left ankle. The pain varies from day to day in it's intensity but, all I know is it's having a detrimental effect on other areas of my body, especially my lower spine and right hip as I struggle to walk. I had a steroid injection in both feet back in January, which relieved it for about 6 weeks but it has worsened since. My orthopaedic surgeon says that there's nothing they can do, other than steroid injections every 6 months and surgery is a last resort. I don't feel that the doctors are doing enough especially where the pain is concerned and it is making me depressed.

I can relate..I've had 5 foot surgeries and in worse pain than before any of them. My podiatrist finally referred me to Pain Management which hasn't even helped yet other than the fact that they told me about the lidocaine patches and on pain medication now. I still get cortisone injections in my heels every 4 months. Trying to come to the acceptance that this is just how is gonna be for the rest of my life. 😪I pray you find relief.
Hi there I'm sorry you are in pain I get it. I have osteoporosis. I have found added supplements boran and k2 so far is helping with inflammation and joints. I heard it really helps with arthritis as well so might be worth a shot. Hang in there. I understand hope you feel better. I'm trying acupuncture Thursday for my left foot issue. Praying it takes the edge off the pain. Big hugs 🤗

I don’t really have those problems (actually I don’t know what I have since no doctor has been able to give me a diagnostic) but I feel the same way. It’s really hard et depressing. I hope your pain will go away.

What does the pain feel like? Does it burn at all?

Do you have the steroid injections under CT your ultrasound? Do you have a lot of pain when you walk because of the midfoot arthritis. I have this and some days I can’t even walk down the hallway

I would recommend turmeric tablets. I have arthritis and it's stopped the burning pain.
what foot surgeries did you have? I’m 3 weeks post op from a triple arthredosis. Pain isn’t bad at all now.
what did they give you as far as pain medication? I was thinking of going there too I'm in such pain all over. I have poems, neuropathy, and supination in my right foot , also I broke my right ankle and had surgery with pins and screws in my ankle and boy the pain goes into my back and knees everywhere from walking being off set
how was the tarsal tunnel surgery? I have been diagnosed with that but I'm nervous about the surgery. Dissemination it help at all?
I've had several things done including plantar fascia, tarsel tunnel release, bunionectomy, bone shaving and removal, nerve removal and a few toe fusions. I'm actually getting a few more toe fusions next month.

permanent nerve pain and pain in my heels when I walk.

apparently they can't.. or I haven't found the right Dr yet. I'm now in Pain Management.
I'm on percocets but I don't feel it's enough and they aren't wanting to give me a stronger strength for some dumb reason.
i figured that those don't help my pain either. They don't want to give stronger due to the opioid epidemic but it hurts people like us who need it
right.

Hi I take Boron vitamin 3mg daily and K2 100 mg every other day. I also take magnesium 330 drink mix too for my muscles and bones. I heard great things about these two vitamins for bone health that it moves the calcium to the bones and teeth so that is what I need as my calcium levels are normal. Best of luck
