Just a note for those considering oral meds, I didn’t have a single side effect taking it for 3 months and my liver wasn’t affected at all, it stayed normal. I am religious so I don’t drink alcohol or coffee and never have done drugs so my liver is likely better than most. I did have to take pain meds on my period which I was worried about but still no side effects. My nail fungus was mild but had lasted over 7 years. It was just hard to see because of all the topicals I used to drop it spreading. I hope this works and I don’t have to keep having a whole toenail routine. I have three more days of taking it. I’ve kept my nails filed down, I apply topics to my whole foot (topical lamisil, 40% urea lotion and dr remedy antifungal cuticle oil) to sleep and occasionally in the morning. I’ll keep up with the topicals for a while. I also replaced all my shoes. I’ve been wearing socks and cheap slides and I’ll keep wearing those for another month or so before switching to using the new shoes. I did buy a new pair of slides to start using since my others are 5 months old. I also have slightly curved toenails and that probably is what made me susceptible to fungus. I bought “curve correct” toenail braces on Amazon to try to flatten the nail. Has anyone tried these? Any other tips to help the oral meds work? I could start blow drying my toes after my shower. For cleaning I clean my floors with hypochlorous acid. I’m also replacing my living room rug since idk how to get fungus out of it. And paying for carpet cleaning. The reason I’m doing so much is I have young kids and I never want them to get this from me so I need it out of my house.

I had success with oral terbinafine. I bought new shoes/socks and sprayed lysol in my more lightly worn shoes. I had little white spots return as soon as I was done with terbinafine. I quickly sanded them off with a disposable drill bit to not reinfect them, and coincidentally found the topical cream I was using for my athlete's foot helped keep the white spots away. It was econazole 1% (a cheap prescription) if you want to ask for it. Oral terbinafine also made the appearance of my athletes foot go away, but it still itched which is why my podiatrist prescribed the cream along with terbinafine. I kept applying the cream for a few months and all was good. Every couple months or so, my feet will itch again and I use the ointment, but I would say my toenail fungus and athlete's foot have stayed 98% gone after 2 years since I did the medication.
You can use the hypochlorous acid on your feet/toenails too!
Yes I’ve been doing that sometimes! I do twelve minutes since ten is how long of a contact time it needs on hard surfaces so I do a little more. I think it helps
