Just an update! Good morning y’all. I had r-foot traditional bunion surgery, including a bone graft, on June 24th of this year. The procedure was Scarf/Reese and I have permanent hardware (2 tiger screws). I was cleared to return to work full-time without restrictions at 9wks post-op on August 27th. I am now six weeks post op, foot is red,swollen and much hotter to the touch from non op foot. Skin has peeled off entire toe half of foot top and bottom. Still have two large scabs. One is dry but one is white and slimey. The nasty one is between two toes where a protruding bone spur was removed. I called the doc today suspecting an infection but did not receive a call back.
