My final post op appointment with my podiatrist was today.

My final post op appointment with my podiatrist was today. I had a 1st MPJ Fusion surgery on my left foot on February 25. My surgery and recovery went well. Here’s pictures of my foot the day of the surgery & what it looks like today. I’m happy with the outcome. No pain or numbness and I can wear shoes that I have with no issues. There’s still some swelling around the big toe and this will continue to go down as it has from month to month and the scar will continue to fade. Sue Spears I’m 7 months down the line, I was non weight bearing for 4.5 months and still my foot hurts too much to run so since end of March I’ve used an indoor bike, walked incline up a treadmill (10 mins is my max) and done loads of weights and squats but I’ve got this awful skin on that leg. I don’t know if it is muscle wastage or cellulite (I used to run and do HIIT several times a week) . I will be 6 weeks post op tomorrow but since I’ve been able to get feet wet, one foot (left) wound seems to drain a little each time after shower? Jude Allen A last minute spot opened up and 5 years of waiting is ending on Thursday— well, for my left foot anyway. Any sage advice would be appreciated!
