My MIB/Akin osteotomy failed to close properly.

My MIB/Akin osteotomy failed to close properly. It looked like it was healing on the surface , but there was a hole underneath it. They had to go in after a month and clean it out. They put in a collagen implant, a scaffolding for bones and tissue to grow into. They did cultures of the tissues and the bone and put me in the hospital for days on IV antibiotics. Nothing grew on the cultures, so it looks like I'm home free. I probably go
