Need advice . I got second opinion for plantar fascial release with bone spur. My orthopedic wants to shave the bone spurs also. The podiatrist I saw today agreed with plantar fascial release but said not the bone spurs because the heel bone could fracture. She also wanted to do a gastronomimius recession. I’m sure I spelled it wrong. Now I do not know which way to go. Never heard of this recession.
