One week post op. Is there any aerobic exercise I can safely do? Shared post Tracy Burns Show of hands, would you do it again? I have surgery scheduled for 9/03. I struggled with pain for 6 months this year, however, since June, no pain. I’m really second guessing if I want to do this. I am very nervous and upset that I won’t be able to work out like I’m used to. My concern is im due back to work on Sept 1st (2 weeks and 1 day) I live a 5 minute walk from my job and have a knee scooter. I also sit at a desk all day where I can elevate my leg. Im removing my bunion and getting 2 screws in. I know everyone is different but curious as to how people felt 2 weeks afterwards. My doctor says I should be fine. I was told by the doctor that recovery is way faster and should be lightly walking right after surgery…. Umm yeah no. The pain is worse than I thought and swelling is horrible.
