Question re post surgery. I have had both bunions operated on. I need advice re arch supports, is it best to see a podiatrist or an orthepidist and basically which is the best to see for after care as I had my ops done privately.

I was told not to get new orthodics until I was a year out due to your foot changing and healing for that long. I saw an ortho doc for my first pair. They did a "mold" of each foot and they were made at another facility. We have a place called The Good Feet Store where they will do something similar and you can get them the same day. I would call your podiatrist and ask if s/he does them or where you should go to get them. Best to you in your journey.
You need an orthotist. Arrange now as it can take several months to obtain an appointment!! Your surgeon should be able to recommend someone.
