Six weeks post-op today.
Six weeks post-op today. Finally able to transition out of the surgical shoes that I wore 24/7, able to drive, and feeling very good. Healing seems to be going well, I’ve had no pain throughout, and have great mobility in both feet. Both bunions and both bunionettes operated on. Two more weeks of the good life, then it’s back to work and normality. Here’s to ‘normal’ feet

This gives me hope! I’ve been so nervous after hearing everyone’s stories.
Wow. What a difference! They look great. 👍
Wow! They look amazing. Can you share who your Dr was?
This gives me hope, they look good .
Looks great!
Nice! Can we see an after xray?
Where did u have it done
Looks great! In what state was this?
How do you do two feet at the same time?
Hi everyone, sorry I posted this about three weeks ago and didn’t realise it was published late. I am now almost nine weeks. Back to work this week which was a bit of a struggle. I am located in Australia (I’m guessing most people who asked who and where and how are overseas). The X-rays are from a few months before surgery and then at eight weeks post op. Healing and recovery doing well. ❤️🩹
Looks great. Which procedure did you choose?
Where did you have pain before the surgery that made you go for surgery? Did you have any pain in ankle?
They look awesome!!
I don’t suppose you’re in Maine?
I don’t understand why the out side of each of your feet kind of curve around now. They looked straighter before the bunion surgery.
So you had the chevron akin type surgery? I think that's what I'd prefer, because I don't want any joints fused. How are they feeling now? A year later... there's so little bone there under the screws! Freaks me out 🤣
This looks awesome
Beautiful job. Same here, today is my 16 days. Barely pain but if on my feet long then legs feet get tired. I only wear surgical shoes when walk. Other than that No needs. I walked after 4 days using my heel (left foot 🦶🏽 surgery) and driving. After 4 days back to work part time.
Anonymous member Wow, those were Bad severe ones .Ouch. You are so brave.
hmm where they cut a wedge out and put in pins maybe 🤔 not sure of exact name but the xray prob explains it better - it’s in the comments
no ankle pain. The right bunion itself was the worst.
I’m in Australia ☺️
maybe it’s the angle of the pictures? They are definitely straighter now - I can’t ever remember my feet especially ties looking somewhat normal
