Surgery was Friday, Sept 4th and doing well but experiencing arch pain but no stitches there.

Surgery was Friday, Sept 4th and doing well but experiencing arch pain but no stitches there. Anyone else dealing with the same pain? Esp big toe seems to jerk at the end of the day. Also I saw surgeon on Tuesday as a quick follow up and he added about an inch of gauze between big toe and the next one to keep them separated as he also had to put in a plate along with screws. While I am full weight bearing I am having trouble forcing myself to the couch. I go back to desk job on Monday (work from home) and trying to tell myself to rest until then. Anyone else struggling to rest ?

You should be elevating that door for 55 minutes of every hour , that’s very early to be going back to work after bunion surgery you need a good few weeks of resting , you just obv not used to resting but it’s vital get that foot above your heart and watch some good tv xx

yep not one to relax. But dr said no need to take off work at all but I did chose to take a week off.
