Today was my 12 day post op check up.
Today was my 12 day post op check up. They took the stitches out and unwrapped my foot and said it looked very good. Told me to go home and wash it and keep it wrapped to where I was comfortable and wear the boot for five or six more weeks and then x-rays. Feeling happy but in more pain after the wrap was taken off. A pic of my left foot bf surgery.

Looks so good! 4 week mark you will really start feeling back to normal.
Wow, amazing
I have surgery in May. I am terrified 😨
I wish you a quick
Looks great 😊
Looks good 👍 I was 6 weeks on my ortho boots , yesterday went to see the doctor and said I can start wearing regular shoes I'm on day today on my tennis shoes and I drove too ,I'm so happy 😊
looks great!
You really needed that surgery, these pictures are great
My second toe does what yours does, I am waiting to have surgery right now and they’re going to clip the flexor underneath my second toe so it straightens out instead of doing a hammer to Surgery
Thank you. I’m very happy so far. Now let’s see what it looks like in 6 weeks.
I can’t wait. Thank you.
Don’t be terrified. You will do great. This was my first surgery and it was very good. And this group will be great support. You are not alone.🙏
they give you a nerve blocker and it stays numb for a couple days as long as you keep it elevated and only get up to use the restroom.
Can I ask what kind of procedure you had.
Hi. I had MTP big toe fusion, simple bunionectomy, and the surgeon moved my second toe closer to my first toe. So hopefully no large gap.
Thanks for the information. I live in Spain and when I had the left toe done they just shaved the bone. I am waiting to see the consultant re my right toe, just want to know what is possible. Last time they didn't give me the option of a bunionectomy, may have to go private.
Thank you Jules.
That’s wonderful news! I’m looking forward to seeing what 6 weeks looks like. 😊
Ouch! Heal up quick!
Just curious did you have this done by an orthopedic surgeon? Our local podiatrist said he does them but I’m a little hesitant.
Speedy recovery hun.
What is the average recovery time from surgery before you can get to work? I'm on my feet most of the day.
I need to do this but it makes me so nervous.
Looks great , are you up and walking ok as yet ?
You need my thongs
Thank you
Orthopedic surgeon.
