Went for second opinion today for failed repair Dr said he recommended a fusion of the big toe and removal of the mini tightrope. He said that alone will stop the pain and shifting. He’s iffy on the Lapidus plate repair. Yes the metatarsal has moved and the plate has shifted but he’s hesitant to touch it if I’m not in pain from it.
