Peroneal brevis tendon

I'm not a DR, but suffer from pain in that area due to severe flat feet and pronation in that foot. I have been able to alleviate my pain with orthotics and a wedge specifically for pronation. Look up"Sinus Tarsi Syndrome"

Ask for an MRI. There are two peroneal tendons that are around that area. Might be a tear

Is a podiatrist reading the xrays? I had a piece or 3 of bone spur break off over that way last year.

Check out your cuboid bone. It could have been dislodged. It can be cured slowly by wearing a small wedge underneath that area IF that's the problem.

You probably need an MRI...would see a podiatrist.

I had a fractured cuboid which only showed up in MRI

There’s a tendon/ligament that attaches there. Mine gets sore at times. Google the anatomy of the foot and you’ll see it.

Probably perineal brevis tendon
