Been looking for post surgery aids, anyone have a must have?? Allison Cofer Hello all! I had surgery on August 2, 2024. I’ve been going through a lot of nerve pain/damage, swelling and CONSTANT pain in my toe. I also have lost about 75% of feel Stephanie Wilbanks The progression of the deformity in the right foot in the last month and a half is astounding. The left foot has been far more painful as far as the bunion pushing on other bones further up the foot. However, the right foots' toes are being smashed together so severely, I have to alternate using toe separators and not to maintain any bit of comfort. I've developed neuropathy so I am scheduled for an EMG to determine the cause. He confirmed the tailor’s bunions on both feet. He said going by the curve of my toes, it’s genetics. He recommended trying orthotics for 3-4 weeks and if no relief then surgery. Hoping the orthotics works but he said that it’s usually only helpful for 50% of patients. So we will see
