My surgery is on Sept 4th and the PLAN is “ Minimally invasive right distal metatarsal osteotomy with bunion correction possible soft tissue release possible Akin phalangeal osteotomy right foot, cross roads, Mini bunion, Synthes headless compression screws, Mini c-arm, 75 min.” (Straight from mychart) RECOVERY I have a desk job and am taking off the Joan Lindenmuth Hi bunion buddies! I am having hardware removal and MIS surgery tomorrow and dr says I will be able to walk with a boot right away. My question is for those who had the same surgery, How do you do that without a wheelchair right after surgery and getting into the house from the car? We have one step from to get into the house.
