I was scheduled to attend pt this morning but my therapist, sadly, had an unexpected death in her family. I was given the option of receiving pt through another therapist but decided against that. I’ll have my final 2 sessions with my regular therapist on Aug 20th and 25th. On the positive side, although I still have some peeling (in weird areas), I no longer have tenderness on the incision site, the scab is completely gone and I’m able to easily massage and moisturize the area. I walk on my treadmill 3x a day and for 30 minutes each. I’m still working on the great toe stiffness with standing heel raises. I am still able to wear my shoes for several hours w/o issues and I can feel my toe bending a little more when walking but of course, it’s not 100% yet. I also have a small amount of residual swelling at the base of my toe and on the left top area of my forefoot. I am scheduled to return to work on August 27th without restrictions🙏🏽 and I have NO PAIN!🙌🏾 Continued healing to you all.
