Hello! New to the group. Alexis Jean Gibson i saw a podiatrist today and told him that i really want to get minimally invasive surgery as i'm really afraid of being put under. he said "absolutely not" and any doctor who does it with only local anesthesia doesn't have the credentials... Tori McKenna I'm frustrated. I had MIS bunionenctomy and 2nd metatarsal shortening. In having the 2nd toe shortened, I now have issues with the tendons and has created a hammer toe. The Dr has referred me to start PT next week in hopes that over the next month it can be fixed. If it doesn't I will then have to have ANOTHER surgery correct that. I was not aware this was even a possibility with this part of the surgery. Lola Lola Just did my first 20mins mixed cardio workout - 7.5w post op. Not at my old pace but got the heart rate up to 140. I think I’m coming back!! Here is my foot and I’m pretty chuffed. Those who’ve had recent surgery and frustrated- I was like you. It gets better, I promise. The uneven tan is fading - thank god
