Hi all,
I’ve been dealing with what has been diagnosed as 2nd MTP capsulitis on the left foot for about 12 months. I went to a specialist and they did a diagnostic ultrasound injection with lidocaine. That took the pain away and took the feeling of walking on a stone away. My toe does not drift, there is no crossover or hammer toe. All physical exams do NOT point to a plantar plate tear/rupter.
