How long do you use the knee scooter to get around? Tiffany

How long do you use the knee scooter to get around? Tiffany Sellers Hello everyone. I am having my surgery tomorrow and am probably over prepared. My concern is im due back to work on Sept 1st (2 weeks and 1 day) I live a 5 minute walk from my job and have a knee scooter. I also sit at a desk all day where I can elevate my leg. Im removing my bunion and getting 2 screws in. I know everyone is different but curious as to how people felt 2 weeks afterwards. My doctor says I should be fine. I can take more time if needed Jaclyn Marie Murphy I’m on day 3 post surgery. exostectomy, 2 inch incision. I was told by the doctor that recovery is way faster and should be lightly walking right after surgery…. Umm yeah no. The pain is worse than I thought and swelling is horrible. My incision is still bleeding. I only took a week off of work so I’m really nervous I’m not going to heal enough. Has anyone had this surgery and was able to walk a little within a week? Patty Baker How long after surgery were you able to get off? Any kind of pain medication? I’m on day five and sadly still need them Karen Killian How long after MIS until … you were able to comfortably walk a mile or two? …drive all day? Meaghan Wolff Hi all, new here.
