How many developed hammer toes with aging ?

How many developed hammer toes with aging ? Anyone around 45 .. I feel young for this .. but in the last year my toes have dramatically changed I can’t point my toes anymore Without my toes curving / curling down under All the way !!! ?

I’m 46 and I’ve had hammertoes for years due to the bunion and rheumatoid arthritis. Just got them fixed on my right foot and doing left in January.

how long were you nwb please. Did they put a plate in big toe and/or fused it

I have a titanium plate and 6 screws by big toe and a screw by pinky toe. The big toe bone is fusing nicely. I had a cam boot for 8 weeks and could walk in that (puts weight on heel mostly). Then switched to sneakers.

Me! I’m 48. In the last 8 months, I’ve begun to develop many symptoms and pain in both feet which I think is caused by bunions. Mild hammertoes developed in last 2 months. Little curved and I can see a bone line developing at the place where they bend. I hate it- so uncomfortable

I’m in my late 40s and probably developed one a few years ago. I had a tendon release with my lapidus last year and it’s fine now.

Have had severe bunions for 20-30+ years. Hammer toes in last 5-8years . Dont do tendon release which i had done on hammer toe as it will not be successful long if bunion is not corrected
