I am considering minimally invasive bunionectomy. The deformity is severe. My big toe is pushing on my second toe. I worry about hammer toe and a later more invasive surgery. My mom's feet got really horrible. However, I have only occasional pain. Mostly it doesn't hurt it just makes shoes difficult and it is getting worse.

I just had it done last week, you can PM me for more info. I did travel out of state for surgery. I have severe bunions and hyper mobility. I had lapidus on my other foot 3 years ago that did not turn out as hoped and will need a revision at some point.
How is your foot hypermobile and why do you need a revision
my big toe is turning again... that's why I think eventually might need a revision. I have very mobile joints... can hyper extend my arms and legs and severe bunions on both feet.

I've got a great doc already. I just had my left done but it was with a fusion on the big toe. But my left was a real problem with shoes etc. I was wondering about MIS. I heard healing is much quicker. I am almost 6 weeks out of surgery on my left and still in a boot.
I did mis on both feet. Very happy
