I had my bunions removed, flat foot repaired, but my hammert

I had my bunions removed, flat foot repaired, but my hammertoes weren’t. I was told by my surgeon that he didn’t want to repair them now (at 28/29) because once I get them repaired, I’ll lose flexibility in the toes, as they will be fused in place. Is that true for you guys that did have hammertoe repair? The loss of motion? He said he wanted me to wait til I’m older to get started on them. While I understand that, I was hoping to jus
