I know I post a lot- thank you for y’all’s patience with me

I know I post a lot- thank you for y’all’s patience with me! I have an appt with my surgeon on 6/30. Until I can be seen, I was wondering if the pain I’m having is “normal”. It’s on the top of my foot, smack dab in the middle and spreads towards where my foot meets my leg/ankle. I’m walking with a limp from it. I never had pain there before surgery. Hoping it’s something others have experienced?

I have aches, especially in the morning, from pain across the top of my foot when I had a fusion at the big toe

This is my foot, 5 months post bunion and hammertoe surgery. Will my big toe straighten out more once some of the swelling subsides?

Hill Sorry to tell you that’s how my big toe looked after my first of three bunion procedures on the same foot. The first procedure was a Lapidus-type surgery and left me with a lot of hardware in my foot and my big toe still leaning way left … crowding out my second toe, which eventually started crossing over my third toe. After snipping the tendon in the second toe did not work, I went to a different doctor and had an Akin Osteotomy to straighten the big toe. Started this process with surgery #1 in February 2025. More than a year later, I’m 5 weeks out from this 3rd procedure.

Honestly, at 5 months, I don’t think it will change any more.
