Could you possibly have a toe nail fungal infection. This causes the nails to go a yellowish colour and make the toe nails very this and hard to cut. Id recommend seeing your g.p. this is what I did. An I cant remember if I took some pills or what I did. But what ever it was. It cleared my toe nails up, an the nail went back to normal

Yes you need surgery yes ur are in bad shape yes it will be painful but not forever I’m almost most a month post op and it was the best decision I’ve made I went 5 + years going beck and forth if I was going to get it done I finally did it and as of to

My left foot was like that. I had severe hammer toe. My toe would not stay in joint. Get a good surgeon. Some just go to the closest and you really need a good one.
