Q about ice machines: I am having bunion/hammer toe surgery on Wed. My insurance did not approve an ice machine. I’ve seen some options online and was wondering what we ice as the CAM boot will be bulky and any foot pad would be difficult to use if icing on top of it. Do we just ice the back of knee and leg and a flat pad is what we need? I cannot remove my boot at all for two weeks and will wear it for 8 weeks.
