my doc said it was arthritis but I don’t think it is
I had it, and still do 6 weeks after surgery. It likely is because our gait is off, trying to protect the bunion side. So we shift our weight, overloading the small bones and muscles. I started PT last week, to relearn a normal gait.
Yes, I did. Had Lapiplasty and the dr shortened the bone of my 2nd toe, which is what was causing the pain(besides the bunion pain).
I do. X-ray saw a bone spur-caused by arthritis
Yes swelling at the end of the day but I also got both the toes next to my big toe fixed as well straightened out but the sensitivity on the top of my foot is still there 5 months into healing
Sounds like a Morton's Neuroma. They're common with bunions.
Yes me! I also feel it in my ankles! It’s been rough this week. Looking forward to June.
