Has anyone heard of this: Okay, I had a stump neuroma remove

Has anyone heard of this: Okay, I had a stump neuroma removed between my 3rd and 4th toes last year. It was a huge neuroma and the Dr. went through the bottom of the foot to remove it. Well about 4 months ago I started having severe pain on the bottom of my same foot right where there is a callous (next to the are where the neuroma was), and the burning is worse now in the 3rd and 4th toes. I went back to Dr. about a month and a half
