Hey Guys, For those that have had Minimal invasive surgery Need to ask if any one else has had this happen I am 9 weeks post op from bunion and bunionette (taylor's bunion) surgery in Australia, the pin for the bunionette was removed at 3 weeks. I have been weight bearing from the day after surgery however on left foot I have this hard bit that feels like its either bone or screws, I did show it to my surgeon at 5 weeks which he was ok with it and just put some tape on it. I Lana Wilkie I’ve got a bunion on my right foot & I was wondering to get surgery does it have to be really big? I get pain after playing sports and most of the time after taking my work shoes off but I don’t know if I need to be in excruciating pain to get surgery? Caroline Graham Has anyone had PRP injections after Morton’s Neuroma surgery? Caroline Graham Hello to the Admin of this page. Wondering if you can give me some peace of mind. I had MIS bunion surgery in October last year. All good except that prior to surgery I had pain in my foot which, after surgery, was diagnosed as Neuroma Bursal Complex. So a month ago, I had a revision surgery which I thought had gone well, except it still hurts to walk. I’m wondering whether this is normal, or is it scar tissue and if so, what can I do Jewel Eeyah I am curious why doctors are still recommending you don’t get surgery unless you’re in bad pain? Is it the complications or ineffectiveness of the surgery? A foot deformity seems like it would have massive ripple effects for your gait and for other joints in your body. A cosmetic problem is having a big nose or wrinkles. Trish Larfield Hi everyone, have been reading your post over the last couple of months and saw my surgeon yesterday. I just want to ask, are any of you that have had the surgery glad that you had it done. Was it worth all the pain and recovery period. I would love to be able to hike again without pain and wear nice shoes, just don’t want to end up worse off. Thank for all your input.
