I have researched online and cannot find an answer. For any of you who have foot nerve pain. Is it possible to have a neuroma between big toe and 2nd toe. Everything I read says neuroma occurs between 3rd and 4th toe. My pain is between my big toe and 2nd toe. Also, my big toe is numb and has been for several months. This is all following bunion surgery 7 months ago and my surgeon believes I have entrapped nerve. Also, my surgeon is suggesting a series of alcohol injections to cause necrosis of nerve to relieve pain. Anyone have experience with this and if so what were you’re results. TIA

The nerve pain could be recovery from a nerve that was damaged during your surgery. The more you use your toes, the faster it can recover.

My Morton’s neuroma was between my 2nd and 3rd toe. Both toes are still numb 11 years later.

I have three neuromas on each foot. Only one in between 3rd and 4th.

If it's not the 2nd-3rd area, then it may not be Morton's Neuroma. But there is pain associated with bunions that hurts between the big and 2nd toe. I think I can post links here? Some groups you can't, but I'll try. https://www.bunion-japan.com/foot-pain/01-html

occasional lower back pain. My PT has me doing back stretches…she said it is possible it is referred pain from sciatica or issue with back
