Painful feet... this is my story, so I know this won't help

Painful feet... this is my story, so I know this won't help everyone, but it's worth writing in case it helps someone. I had excruciating pain across the top of both my feet & also pain shooting up the inside of my lower legs. This went on for years. I had various tests & xrays & was told it was wear & tear (in other words suck it up!). I had an appointment with a Rheumatologist & mentioned my feet. She referred me to an NHS Podiatrist. He looked at my test results & said to try half length arch insoles. I thought, really, is that it? Also, the bottom of my feet really hurt & I can't have anything hard on them. Anyway, I thought well ok let's try them as they're free. The insoles came, I put them in my shoes - bosh they've taken all the pain away! I've since bought my own arch insoles & when I feel my feet painfully niggling I realise I've been wearing my slippers for days I just put my slip ons on with the insoles & it goes away. It may be worth a try before going down the road of many tests only to end up with quite a simple solution 😊 Painful feet... this is my story, so I know this won't help everyone, but it's worth writing in case it helps someone. Sometimes it radiates to my ankle a bit ( like an ache near my ankle bone). Can anyone give me an idea of what this might be? I had it about 2 months ago as well but it did go away for a bit. It's kind of on and off. This time is worse than ever though. (Sorry for my gross foot photo) Hi everyone. I have the worst searing pain in the top of my foot right now. This is a must read if you suffer from osteoarthritis. Most of my family and friends know what a time I have with my feet! Every step is painful. I talked my radiation oncologist .I had treatments of low dose radiation. There are many studies validating this and my insurance (BCBS) approved it. I have had 5/6 treatments. Life changing! 🙏Surprisingly I started having relief after 3 treatments. I’m not totally pain free but it went from about a 9 (every afternoon after work) to a 2-3!!! Ya’ll!!!! I never dreamed it would work this fast! It should give me relief for a couple of years and can be repeated. I don’t know that we have a plan in place to start treating arthritis, bursitis and tendinitis (my elbows are next) but I will certainly post a follow up! I’m truly amazed at how well it has worked and I have one more to go! It is a total of 6 treatments over about 2 weeks. Please research it to see if it can help you! Shared post Olivia Hawk Okay so, second day of work. Literally had to leave after 2 1/2 hours because my feet hurt so bad. Limped my way out of the building, and was in so much pain I cried the whole way home. I’m literally 18 and I’ve been dealing with this for a year now. I’ve tried so many things and I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. I’m going to try a new dr a foot and ankle specialist to see if I can find out what is going on and if that doesn’t work I’m going straight to the ER because I CANNOT deal with this anymore. I don’t want to lose another job because of this. (Excuse my little rant I’m just so tired of it) if anyone knows any good foot & ankle specialist around Pittsburgh PLEASE let me know. Thank you for all the helpful tips and support on my last post! Ive scheduled two doctors appointments, one to see if I can have my insurance cover an MRI with a doctors approval and another to see if I can get meds or something else to help short term until the appointment since I wasn’t able to get in until the end of the month. Thank you sm again!! Shared post Sheree Levy I'm wondering if anyone in the group has suggestions for managing Morton's neuroma. I will really appreciate all of your advice. Shared post
