Thank you so much for accepting my request . Ok so my boyfriends feet .. first off they smell really bad , he only sweats through his feet if you can imagine that . He goes through pairs of shoes faster then our horse .. lol who has to be re shoed once a month . Lol anyways he constantly has this sharp hard piece of skin that stabs him , he describes it as feeling like a pebble under his skin . It’s in the area of his foot I circled . Every few months he goes in a physically digs as much of this hard kernel like thing out to reduce some of the pain but it always hurts to some extent . Does anyone have any idea what this condition might be called ? TIA everyone ….

Sprinkle bicarbonate of soda in his shoes. It will help with smell

It’s Morton Neuroma…I had it, and I didn’t pay attention to it..same spot, same feeling..go and get an MRI…you don’t want to see my pictures 😁👍🏼 go and see if you can catch it early and get treatment…throw those shoes away..buy better shoes, get some support insoles…

That’s what he says too .. that’s a weird place for a callus . Would that be caused by maybe just horrible posture and the way his foot hits the ground ? Is there anything that he can do to stop it from stabbing him ? It’s life altering pain for Him . He literally won’t ever walk more then maybe half a mile before he is done .. and even then that leaves him with a bruise where the callus stabs him and he is in pain for multiple days afterwards ….

Omg that’s exactly what his toes do . thank you for taking the time to reply . So are you able to walk with out foot pain now ? I don’t think he thinks In his lifetime will his foot pain ever go away . He is 36 and has had feet like this since he was young , maybe 10 years old .

Are you able to get the sweating under control ? His feet smell so so bad sometimes . He has to buy new shoes Once a month

I got some ankle issue with that foot cause I’d retract my toes back when it hurt in that spot. I’d cut on that callus with a steak knife to get it down.

I got this stuff called callus blaster n use that. Now I just use a foot file all the time after my shower n keep the callus at bay.

I do too. A lady at a high end shoe store had me get on this machine n give me inserts to what my foot type was, I also got some keen shoes to wear everyday.

i go to a chiropractor every 2months n he jerks on my ankles. He says I have Achilles tendinitis. The last week I’ve used toe spectators n the pain in the back of my ankle has subsided quite a bit.

sometimes they sweat a lot still. When I change my socks out it helps control it more. My toe nails r thick m gross as well, but I keep them cut n filed some. I use that foot odor stuff n a guy said to soak your feet in half vinegar n half water to control the fungus.

I do get a callus on the other foot but it’s in a different spot on that foot. Does he have a wide toe box as well?

To be honest..I’m still recovering…there’s no shoes out there that make me feel comfortable anymore…I just learned to ignore the “pain”… don’t get me wrong, it’s way better than before..I use Birkenstock slippers every chance I get…and I’m still using orthotics.. I had the boot for 2 weeks if I remember correctly…
