Day three - post op open fasciotomy. I’ve stayed on a tight schedule of alternating every two hours Tylenol, ibuprofen, and 5 mg Oxycodone the first 36 hours. Slept well last night. Toes have thawed out. I do feel pain when I move them and a heavy feeling in the foot but manageable. Have three Oxy left for tonight and am making it through the day on ibuprofen and Tylenol and ice behind my knee. Only up to go to the bathroom. Foot elevated. Hardest part is staying comfy in bed for so long.

Both the Koprez sleeve and the Airplus sleeve leave this painful ridge at the bend where my ankle joins my leg. Any solutions please?

Home and well. 6 hours - in and out! VA medical team was awesome. So far no pain except no feeling in toes yet. Bedrest x two weeks. First follow up visit in one week. Pain meds, ibuprofen, Tylenol alternation. Aspirin starting tomorrow. Feeling optimistic.
