6 days post op (plantar fasciotomy, heel spur remova) Feeling great, only taking IBU. At what point can I start gently pointing and flexing my foot? I’m starting to get around with just crutches and ditching the knee scooter, only putting pressure on ball of my foot. I’m hoping by Monday, I’ll be down to one crutch seeing I go back to work

Wow! Was it open or endoscopic? I had the same thing 12/19, open. I'm total non weightbearing for 4 to 6 weeks

What does your Surgeon say?

I was given the okay to start pointing and flexing my foot at my post-op visit (Dec 23rd). Check with your surgeon to be sure.

Had surgery 12/19. I can point and flex if it doesn't hurt. Lol Some weight if it doesn't hurt. Every time I try to step on my toes the pain shoots up my leg. Recovery almost seems overwhelming already.

That's nothing compared to my scar for a plantar fasciotomy and decompression for tarsal tunnel syndrome

I was never in a boot. Made the pain worse. I was in a wheelchair for 3 weeks
