Pt never helped me. I was in pain for 2 years nothing helped. The only thing that helped was getting my hardware removed

7 months post op Right bunionectomy lapidus akin calcaneal bone graft harvest. I'm still struggling...since surgery I have dealt with obvious swelling, peroneal tendonitis, plantar fasciitis and now the front of my ankle is hurting pretty bad... I'm still in PT. I almost feel like everyone is getting annoyed with me and my recovery I'm not moving fast enough, not healing fast enough...I do good for a little while then something new has me down I still can't bend my toe very well and it doesn't touch the ground. I'm just so tired of this recovery. I need the left foot done, but idk if I'll ever do it at this point.

Don’t feel bad. It took forever for my foot to get where it wasn’t painful.
Sorry. That sounds exactly like me. Swelling, pain, toe can't touch ground, set backs like infection and second surgery, and some from walking too much. My husband tired of me not doing well and not doing for myself. And I am so over it. I have seen other posts where people have done well. Not me.
It took a year to the day, literally, not joking, for all pain to go away.
