Genuinely curious if anyone has ever actually cured their PF? Or is it just once you get it you’ll never get rid of it. And you’ll waste a suitcase of money on random junk trying to get rid of it.

Day three - post op open fasciotomy. I’ve stayed on a tight schedule of alternating every two hours Tylenol, ibuprofen, and 5 mg Oxycodone the first 36 hours. Slept well last night. Toes have thawed out. I do feel pain when I move them and a heavy feeling in the foot but manageable. Have three Oxy left for tonight and am making it through the day on ibuprofen and Tylenol and ice behind my knee. Only up to go to the bathroom. Foot elevated. Hardest part is staying comfy in bed for so long.

Has anyone else been completely disappointed with seeing a podiatrist? I (after waiting over a month) had my first visit with a podiatrist today. He didn't really tell me anything that I didn't already know and said that I was fine to return to work waitressing even though I can't even walk around the store 20 minutes without pain. He told me waitressing is just like walking from here to there (pointing at the floor). Not quite, tell me you've never worked in a restaurant before without saying it. Now do that for 6 hours straight while practically running and carrying 20lbs of plates each way. He made me feel like I was just there to try to get out of working. He also told me to look into pain management. Has anyone done that?

When my podiatrist told me I could not wear sandals that really affected me because I do not wear closed toe shoes only to the gym, but I was willing to follow doctors orders to get rid of this PF and a friend who had it recommended these shoes It’s obviously not a cure but it does provide relief. I had PF many years ago and I was able to cure it myself, but I guess as my doctor reminded me age and my weight are contributors but it kind of sucks when my workouts are limited because I can’t be on my feet, missing my Zumba classes😩
