Anyone have Asics in a wide fitting toe box ?. One of my toes is hurting like hell so yesterday the sheets touching against it and my stocking touching against it is hurting like hell and when I press on the toenail it sends a shooting pain up through my toe so I'm wondering if a wide fitting trainer would help

Sounds like an ingrown toenail. Wide toe box sneakers are best for PF regardless and certain brands make them (I don’t think asics).

I wear Asics Gel Nimbus, a men's shoe rather than a womens, half a size bigger and they are adequate for my wide feet

I am a New Balance person BUT I’m looking into Topo. Haven’t found one I like yet but there are many styles. Look at Topo also

If the side of your toe where the toenail goes in is hurting, then that's an ingrown toenail. How much room do you have in your shoes? You can try thinner socks to see if that helps. You should be able to stick a finger in between your heel and back of shoe. Try the men sizes and go up a half size. I know some of their shoes don't come in wide. Sounds like your toes are being smushed.

Brooks has pretty wide toe boxes.

Also you can look on amazon for Jackshibo. They are a wide toe box but run small, so order a 1/2 size up

All I wore was asic gels for years , can’t have them on me anymore . Do get relief in these . I would usually be a 6 but prefer 6.5 for a bit wiggle room .

I can't wear anything except Asics they are the only thing that helps with my pf and neuropathy. The nail doesn't seem to be digging in at the top as I am able to clean underneath it but I don't know about down near the end

great thanks I will see if I can get them as all mine are narrow fitting I tried putting on my trainers today but I can't it hurts like hell so I need wide fitting now

i can't even walk with the pain so won't be taking the dog for his walk today. Hopefully the wide fit will help as mine as to narrow

are they soft to walk with I also have neuropathy in my feet so it's like walking on broken glass and burning hot coal my feet are so delicate so Asics have only been the ones I find helps. I tried new balance before but can't remember the number of them but they were very hard

it's the whole toe . The toe is red I'm after putting arnica cooling gel on it to see if it will help. I might have to try either go up half a size or get wide fitting toe box

mine did that when I wore thicker socks with a shoe. I felt the tightness when I put it on. Wide toe box is different than wide shoes. Don't think those come in wide toe box. Just go up a 1/2 size. Find something else to where to give it a break to heal. The pain shouldn't last if it does get it checked out

I won't wear Brooks . Each time I wore them I slipped and injured my wrist and hip and now I'm waiting for a operation to fix my wrist. I complained to Brooks and they said they don't put anti slip in their trainers and when I told my physio she told me I was the third person that week to slip wearing them so she said she won't be recommending them to anyone again

yes I had bought $200 hokas and my toes hurt so bad in them. That's why I found these asics. Nice and wide toe box. Hasn't made my plantar fasciitis go away of course but it has Def been an improvement i highly recommend them.
