Hello all! My MIS procedure is scheduled for tomorrow at 9:45am. These items plus a knee scooter and shower chair are what I have to help aid in my recovery. Am I missing anything that is a “must-have”? Thanks in advance!

I’m nearly 4 months post op and still can’t fit into any of my old trainers - has anyone else experienced this?

Just left my week 7 appointment! I can finally start to walk flat footed with a little weight (will continue using walker) and begin limited PT. My swelling and pain is virtually non existent, I haven't iced or elevated for days. He said I could move to sneakers if I want and the nurse suggested Birkenstocks. My fear is that with a sneaker I'll feel an urge to walk normally which I cannot do. I have no pain so I'm ready to actually walk! Also, I think my definition of walking is different than everyone's post surgery😂 I went in today think I would move to sneakers and start walking NORMALLY right away. Walking like a baby short steps and flat footed is not what I consider walking lol. So here's to the next month with these directions, hopefully I can REALLY walk by week 11!

Just had my 6 week post op appointment. Has anyone had any tendon (or similar) issue where the big toe is being pulled over towards the 2nd and is somewhat sitting lower and pulls underneath slightly? If so, what was the cause and how was it rectified? Surgeon sent me for an ultrasound to have a better look! He has also referred me for physio as my joint is quite stiff! Also, what are we all wearing walking around the house after being cleared for normal shoes? I haven't plucked up the courage to put a trainer on and walk in it yet but i've put my slippers back on and wow, it feels so weird!! I do feel like i'm still 'limping' so to speak....
