Does anyone else find relief with Oofos slides? My pain was manageable until I purchased these slides. That's when I noticed that when I wore them, I felt much better BUT overall the pain started increasing. I had to stop going to the gym even. I still wear them because they are the only slides that are so comfortable——but I'm wondering if they are making the healing process slower.

My PF is starting to disappear. However, my outer ankle on my bad foot has been a problem. I'm sure it's because I have been limping and walking improperly for so long. My Oofos seem to aggravate my ankle situation.

They are so comfortable but put my PF into a stretched position that flares mine.

I wore mine when my pain was at its worst. As my pain improved, while wearing regular shoes, after I lost some weight and was on anti inflammatories I didn't wear them as much. I, too, noticed they were sometimes adding to my pain after wearing them.

So a few orthopedic surgeons and podiatrists tell me that OOFOS are exactly what they say they are. RECOVERY shoes. They said they are meant to be worn for painful days, not EVERYDAY. Not supportive enough, and too soft and pliable. Pretty much they intensify your problem if worn daily.

Its not wise to wear just one type of shoe for days. You need to swap out. You need to switch shoes out daily, every couple days - your feet will tell you.
