***edited***Thank you for the add. I'm looking for ideas. I do intend to see a Dr as soon as I can afford it. Over the last few months my feet hurt so bad. Left more than right but both hurt. I don't know if it's arch pain or whole foot pain or plantar fascitis. A lot of pain on the left outer side of foot, and arch to ball and heel. Once I get moving it loosens up but if I rest for even 5mins, and stand up to walk, bam...pains back. If I have to jump up and move quick, I'm going to be In Troubel!!!! I use arch inserts to see if it helps but, it's not helping much yet. Any ideas what this could be?? **also, can plantar facscitis cause ingrown toenails on small toes??? (Weird question, I know).

This sounds like plantar fasciitis based on what you said about pain in the arch to ball and heal and that the pain goes away when you walk on it. I had it for several months and started wearing these compression socks for it. Wore it every day for about 6 months. Haven’t had an issue since. If you try them out, they seem to run big and I had more support buying the ones that were a size smaller than recommended i.e I should be an XL but Large worked best. They really provide some good support. SB SOX Compression Foot Sleeves... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M2B4FDG...

Voltaran gel is OTC and may help

Try googling plantar fasciitis stretches and do them every morning before you step out of bed see if that helps.. and those compression sleeve socks that someone posted above do help too.

I would go to Dr. Scholes booth where you stand on it. They are not perfect but gave me some felief until I got custom insoles. They took a month to get after seeing the Dr.. they were better than anything else o bought off the shelf. I was surprised.
