Have had burning feet for quite some time now, along with painful feet. We own a wedding venue and on wedding days I am on my feet a lot. I found some shoes that felt comfortable but they made my feet really burn!! Two questions.... 1) Is any of this related to having high arches? I have no idea why I have this. Supposedly there's no nerve damage. 2) Does anyone know of a good shoe for feet burning AND pain?

I have burning as well as other pain. My burning is neuropathy and I’ve taken Lyrica for years although not sure how much it’s helping anymore. Many start with gabapentin which is cheaper but wasn’t too effective for me. Sometimes I use a topical Lidocaine on them.
It could also be other conditions. High arches can lead to plantar fasciitis. Once you know your condition it helps in picking out shoes. Podiatrists recommend Brooks, Saucony, Asics, Hokas, and others.
do your feet tip out or in. If check out upstep inserts on line
I use these slides sandals for walk at home and they help me so much to relief my feet! Highly recommend these

I tried that and it didn’t help 😞
Hi Linda. I also have burning and pain. Gabapentin did not work. Did Lyrica help at all.
, it does somewhat although as I said, not as much as it once did.
I don’t think it sounds like plantar fasciitis. The pain is all over and really bad on the outside edges. Then there’s the burning. I don’t even know if the burning and the other pain are related. Not sure what to do to help both issues as I need some really comfy nice shoes.
Get supportive shoes and see a podiatrist. If you hold your foot in your arch with one thumb, and it feels tight, it could be.
