I am incredibly frustrated and depressed about my feet. 😞. I feel like no one even knows what's wrong with them. Going on 7 years battling pain in the Tops of my feet. Resting them only makes them better until I start using them again. I've tried gabapentin ( didn't work plus I hated how it made me feel). I've tried several pain meds that barely help , but also can't be on forever. Had xrays and even two emgs (?) ( testing nerves) with no results that explain this I'm 57. I want to hike with my husband and family! I want to go on walks, I want to do regular daily activities without needing to prop my feet and ice them. 😞. Cortisone shots are the only thing that helps for any length of time, but taking those several times a years really damages the bones ( and I have severe osteoporosis in my family). A few months ago I even found a clinic that does PRP ( platelet replacement therapy) and lasor therapy. I thought I'd found the answer. But it wasn't. 😞. I could barely sleep last night because of the pain. Does anyone else have this issue, and have you found relief? I'm at my wits end. ( pain on tops of feet ( possible tendinitis?) and worsens when walk or stand for any periods of time) ???? Sorry for the rant. I'm just feeling so depressed about this. Ps also have fitted (for me) very expensive orthotic insoles and tried every pair of shoes,.... 😞 and PT I am incredibly frustrated and depressed about my feet. . I’ve been to several foot drs to try to find out what’s wrong. I’ve had mri’s, X-rays, ultrasound, cortisone shots, change in shoes, orthotics and even was in a cam walker boot for 6 months. This pain is absolutely horrible when walking, bending the toe, pushing lightly on it etc. I have gotten basically no answers and this pain hasn’t gotten any better. I’m having another MRI in a week. Every step is painful. I talked my radiation oncologist .I had treatments of low dose radiation. There are many studies validating this and my insurance (BCBS) approved it. I have had 5/6 treatments. Life changing! 🙏Surprisingly I started having relief after 3 treatments. I’m not totally pain free but it went from about a 9 (every afternoon after work) to a 2-3!!! Ya’ll!!!! I never dreamed it would work this fast! It should give me relief for a couple of years and can be repeated. I don’t know that we have a plan in place to start treating arthritis, bursitis and tendinitis (my elbows are next) but I will certainly post a follow up! I’m truly amazed at how well it has worked and I have one more to go! It is a total of 6 treatments over about 2 weeks. Please research it to see if it can help you! I’m absolutely desperate and as a medically complex mom getting into the doctor for myself is difficult. Nor can I just stay off my feet * I work 10+ hrs 1 day/per week on concrete at a big box store (primarily standing which hurts more than walking) and then I work 18hrs at home as an employed “Parent Nurse aide” aka CNA for my child with disabilities. The pain has gotten so severe that I am not sleeping well and wake up feeling even worse than when I go to bed the night before. I just purchased 3 pairs of shoes 18 hrs ago to try (I wore the on clouds yesterday.) and have had an insert for arch support that is supposed to help with plantar fasciitis. It does help some, but definitely does not resolve the pain In Shoes purchased: On cloud Cloudmonster 2.0 New balance 1080 And Hoka eclipse I’m attaching a stock picture but can post my actual foot in the comments if needed. But I highlighted as best I could where the pain is. Symptoms include severe heel pain that is worse on the inner/arch part of my foot and radiates up the soft tissues towards the little knob but the pain also goes around the full back and bottom of the heel. I also have cramping that goes all the way into my calves and then down my inner bottom arches. With more mild to moderate pain at the middle of the balls of my feet and numbness in my toes. The heel pain is felt at the bottom pad of my heel but seems much worse on the periphery of the heel. It’s painful enough that I need a pillow under my feet and it still feels like a sharp and throbbing bruise if I rest my feet up. A persistent ache when my feet dangle and increasing pain as my day goes on with standing. I thought it was plantar fasciitis but I’m not sure now. I know this is a lot but I need to find answers because I cannot take time off or rest when taking care of my daughter’s medical cares. Please help.
