I had an ultra sound done and it shows mild PF but also a 6mm plantar fibroma 13mm from the insertion of the fascia to the heel bone. Anyone else have a fibroma? Any treatment recommendations?

I absolutely love Altra tennis shoes. Unfortunately they don’t always match everything. Has anyone found a dressier type shoe or sandal as great as Altra tennis shoes? Bonus points if they come in a ladies 12.

Anyone else on medicade and had an MRI? I’m wondering if that is why the doctor I was seeing didn’t want to order one.. I’ve been reading how doctors are only reimbursed for 1/3 of the cost.

Does anyone else feel like their Oofos feel super worn down after only a couple months of wearing them? I got them from REI so I can return them within a year if I change my mind but I don’t want to do that every two months…

I just got off the phone to my specialist for a 4 month review. I had a 9.2mm thickness and a 8mm tear of the plantar fascia. We found this out 4 months ago. So i spent 3 months in a moon boot. And 1 month just only on my foot for about 2 hours over the whole day walking around house. Had shock wave and PRP injection done to foot 4 months ago too. The new MRI scan shows no improvement to the plantar fascia and the tear is not fully healed. He said I could do surgery to release the fascia. He said a 85% chance it will work. Or i could sit back and wait to see if it gets better. Has anyone else had surgery and how did it go??

So I was strength training for an hour a day, then walking 5 miles. I did this 5 days a week. My feet started hurting but I pushed through and like when you get in the best shape… I got pregnant. My feet got way worse and swollen and I took it up to pregnancy. I am 7 months postpartum. And the tops of my feet are still swollen while nothing else is, Humps on them! And walking/standing is miserable. I am at a lost on what to do. So many contradictions. Not sure if a podiatrist will help have not heard great things. Labs are normal, everything is normal but my feet look like they belong on a 600lbs person, just the tops of my feet!! Doctor is not sure because labs are normal and suspects severe inflammation from underlying plantar fasciitis. I have high arches. Feel better in cloud/cushioned lightweight sandals, do anti inflammatory diet and want my feet better so I can work out again. I have tried expensive Hokas which hurt more!! Anyone with same or similar situation that was able to correct this, can you give me some ideas of what to do? My 9 year old is asking questions about my feet, they are so bad he noticed I have humps.
