I took a BIG chance. I bought boots I’ve eyeing for several months online. I wasn’t sure if I was going to need to size up but the size said 8-8.5 and I’m usually an 8W. Luckily, they were available in wide. They are very supportive yet roomy in the toe box. The arch support is amazing. First time, and prob last, I’ve ever spent this much but I have no regrets!!! Wish I could afford a pair in each color!!! Anyone else shop TAOS shoes???

For those of you getting the series of shockwave treatments, not the orthotripsy shockwave, make sure you tell whomever is delivering the treatment to push hard not being afraid to hurt you. The first 3 I received did nothing. The last two I told them not even to look at my face contorting in pain and to just apply pressure. The 5th treatment I got I actually feel a difference. Not 100% by any means but I can walk on my heel without terrible pain. I see him next week and will give the doctor an update. I’m hoping to get another treatment or 2. In the meantime, I finally hit the MRI and will have those results to confirm that it is only of and heel spur or something else. See less

After almost 2 yrs of dealing with PF I am now beginning to get Charlie Horses in my very high arch. When it’s happening my fascia feel like really tight rubber bands. They last several seconds and pass. Anyone else???

Just had my 3rd ESWT shockwave treatment with no improvement yet. I may consider moving onto plasma injections if this doesn’t work. There are 2 types offered. One is your own plasma and the other is umbilical cord plasma which is much more expensive but supposedly has better results. He didn’t give me a quote bc price changes. That will also be an out of pocket expense. If that doesn’t work I will resort to surgery. Ugh.

I’m doing ESWT now. Little to no improvement. I may try umbilical plasma injections or orthotripsy shock treatment next
