Is there a surgry for this,i think i've try everything. Cathy Moulton Dawson 62 years old, my first bout with horrible plantar fasciitis in my right foot. Pics are to show my extremely high arches. Before I spend hundreds more dollars I would love to connect with some of you who have high arches like me. I have already purchased several brands of shoes which only make the pain worse. Hokas, Brooks, Ooifos, etc.  I think I developed the PF because my left hip has been hurt and I was limping for about a year. Just had hip replaced and it’s doing gr Kyrsten Nothwang I just diagnosed with pf and heel spurs in both feet. My right is worse than my left. He didn’t question and put cortisone in both feet right away to ease the pain. I’m on my feet all the time or even walking with very thin racing shoes as I race cars on very rough uneven ground. The pain is slowly coming back already. When I’m home, I try to stay off my feet as much as I can. But I teach pe and it is right around the corner. Thoughts Jennifer Hammer Anyone experience pain and swelling on the side of the foot near the ankle? Wondering if it's from adjusting my foot when I walk to avoid the PF pain. I see a podiatrist tomorrow to address everything. My orthopedic dr. wanted DME or surgery. No in-between. So needless to say, I'm never seeing that ortho dr again.
