I’ve been dealing with PF since 2024.
The past 6 months or so I have a lot of leg pain from the knee down.
Kept thinking it was tight calves that come with PF. Despite all the massagers and stretches. The pain doesn’t go away. My legs feel so heavy especially when I lay down at night. I obsess in my head about taking a rolling pin to them (don’t ask me why).
I mentioned it to the doctor who treats my PF with cortisone shots. He said the heavy leg feeling is a red flag and sent me for ultrasounds.
Turn out it’s venous reflux in my legs. They want to do vein ablation. I haven’t decided yet, but wanted to share in case anyone else was dismissing these feelings and thinking it’s due to PF
I had no bulging veins. No discoloration. No signs other than the heavy feeling/pain. I’m only 43..
