My podiatrist discharged me as a patient, told me there was nothing else he could do for me after I got a EMG/NCV test done, was told to follow up with my primary for an MRI and X-rays on my lower back as that is what is causing my PF... anyone dealt with this outcome?

Look up Barbara O'Neil on You Tube and type in Natural Remedies It's Not over night cure but it did help me.. using a Castor Oil pack, I made using a wash rag and sran wrap...that used on my foot until it Stopped hurting. I slept with it on ..I'd take it off during the day and used an ice pack .. off & on. I did use clutches to keep pressure Off of my foot. It was bad enough I could Not walk! Hope you find her and give it a try..

I wouldn’t waste my time on a podiatrist. Get an orthopedic doctor is the problem is with your feet

Decided to go to the Good feet store today to check them out, sat through a 2-hour talk, and tried on many inserts and shoes... Only at the end did they disclose to me it was going to be $2,600 for the inserts....guess I'd rather limp

I like PowerSteps insoles. And I thought $50 was expensive for insoles…

Has anyone been diagnosed with Lumbosacral ridiculopathy and that's what's actually causing the foot pain? I'm aware I have three slipped discs in my lower back, but I guess I didn't realize that could be connected to my foot pain. My podiatrist is starting to think it could be something else since none of the treatments I have tried have been working....

Interesting that you pose this question. I've been treated for PF for a year and nothing has helped. My new doctor thinks my heel pain may really be caused by a pinched nerve somewhere.
