ok so i am now 5 months out from my open plantar fasciotomy. I hate to say this, but I have intense heel soreness when I walk still. It's kind of terrifyin. Anyone else have this outcome? My doctor told me there's lot's of scar tissue that could take up to a year to heal. The pain is worse now than it was before my surgery. Shared post Jerry Sapiano Hi has anyone on here tried the Koprez Foot Sleeve and does it work? Shared post Megan Nadler Hi! I just joined. I’m reading through a lot of the posts and have some questions. Background: I started with pf about two weeks after my 4th baby was born October 2023. Then I started working out and running again a few months later, it got worse, I ran a 10 miler May 2024 I was signed up for and it was so bad . Saw a podiatrist, she recommended stretches, shoes, I also stopped working out because I was pregnant and honestly didn’t Shared post Carmen Hermans Your opinions please...Custom made insoles or Koprez socks?? Shared post Jeff Greenbaum OK, my podiatrist wants me to get a walking cast on for a month. I am using a Lacrosse ball, taking a nerve blocker, massaging, vibrator massaging calves and plantar area, but it never goes away. I have had this since April. I am a cyclist and it began when I rode 170 miles in June for AHA fundraiser. It did almost fully go away till July. I hiked to the top of Lassen 2400 ft of climbing and it returned, worse this time. So Shared post Charlene Austin Astin I wear Brooks Ghost, I started walking a treadmill and around the soccer field well over a month ago, went to the beach and a wave took me out and twisted my ankle and wrenched my back, started getting better and back to walking suddenly my feet started killing me. Hurts to put them on the floor, so I bought flip flops for plantar fasciitis. They do help. At night, my feet burn and it goes away during the night. I’m rolling cold water Shared post Dominique Boushka Feeling very defeated and need some encouragement and or advice. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis in both feet a little over a year ago. I got high arch support super feet inserts and hoka Cliftons. I went to the podiatrist and got two cortisone Injections within a few months and used a night splint. That did not help. I was then told the next step was surgery. I then tried PT for 4 months with slight improvement and then began — feeling exhausted. Shared post Chelle Happy-Weiss So, I began suffering with what I thought was plantar fasciitis prob around April of this yr. I am on my feet for most if the day...I was wearing crocs (while working) or booties (heeled dressy boot like shoes) when out and about. I started going to the podiatrist Towards the end of May and she started taping me. She also mentioned I had a heel spur but said nothing more about that. I often wonder if what I am dealing with is not Shared post Roula Kfoury Karam I stopped walking on the treadmill when I go to the gym and switched to the elliptical , biking and rowing machines . It doesn’t really seem to help my plantar fasciitis pain . The only things that doesn’t t hurt me is the swimming . My husband and I are planning a trip to France to meet some friends and a lot of walking is planned during our journey . Although I wear asics and they are really helpful and very comfortable but I am v Shared post August 24 at 10:34 AM August 24 at 7:33 AM August 24 at 4:44 AM August 23 at 11:04 PM August 23 at 5:13 PM August 23 at 5:00 PM August 22 at 3:23 PM August 22 at 3:14 PM August 22 at 2:02 PM August 22 at 12:34 PM August 21 at 11:20 PM
