This is what my foot is like when I push my bunion in versus weight bearing. My foot collapses down, my bunion is flexible. I don’t have a lot of pain but it’s very uncomfortable and driving me crazy. I wish surgery was not so difficult! I really wish there was easier way. I already use custom orthotics and have an extremely hard time finding shoes.

I waited too long, 13 years for surgery and now my 1,2,3 toes are leaning left. And having arthritis also makes it more painful. Almost 10 years I was buying man’s wide shoes and my right foot is okay and those shoes are too big on the right foot.

Whether they hurt or not bunions are a structural deformity. My bunions caused me no pain for over 20 years, before the discomfort/pain started. I'm 6 weeks out from my MIS bunion surgery and have no regrets. I know the idea of surgery is a scary one, but it might be an idea just to make some initial enquiries? None of those bunion gimmicks work and I know because I tried most of them! 😂 Best of luck to you .

I just had MIS on my right foot last Tuesday and I was terrified to have the surgery due to all the horrible stories I’ve heard & read. I know that Everyone’s story is different though! I’m here to tell you, I haven’t experienced any pain, discomfort or issues. My healing has been way better than I’d ever expected. Honestly I worry I’m over doing it the last few days because I’ve felt so good so I have to make myself sit still and elevate my foot! My one week checkup is this Thursday. Just DO IT!

I have bunions on both feet with advanced arthritis, cysts and bone spurs. Very painful to walk. I can only wear trainers but even struggle with those. Had 10 steroid injections but they no longer work. Surgery has been refused; been told I’m too young and need to wait till I’m 60

I just finished 3D Lapiplasty foot surgery. The bunion is caused by a bone misalignment. I also had plantar fasciitis and toes that needs to be repaired due to misalignment. Once I started having issues with my gait, pain in hip and lower back I consulted a podiatrist and surgeon. Good luck 🍀

how about what happens when you do a doming exercise and strengthen that arch. Or buy Altra shoes that are actually footshaped along with Correct Toes???? Not saying you won't need surgery but it might help

check out "wide toe box" shoes on Amazon. After sampling 2-3 pairs online, I settled on these. Roomiest shoes I've ever had. Good luck!
