This surgery is literally slowly taking me out.
On week 3 post surgery for:
Cut and straightened the second toe
Shortened/repositioned the second metatarsal

I will be having bunion surgery soon as soon as I decide on a date.
I am a runner but I am really saddened to know i will need to take time off. They will also do a plantar plate tear surgery.
How many months until you were active again? More specifically, able to run again?

Having a revision of my bunionectomy in a couple of weeks. The main screw is backing out. My original surgery was June 2nd, so my foot has not healed yet. Need a new screw placed. Anyone go through this & if so, how long was recovery for the revision? 9 hours ago
